Thank you for sharing such wonderful and impactful memories! I so wish we could instigate the kind of organizing that existed in the 70s! I think about it a lot, but have no idea how or we are to begin!💜
Thanks for reading and commenting, Dinah. It was great to meet you the other day. And I agree...I think about it a lot, too. My primary obstacle is lack of energy. But these times call for something.
Thank you, Ann. This is my "in lieu of a memoir" short series on how I became an activist. But then I stopped, so I have to figure out what to do next.
I hear Atlanta is nice. I moved from MA in 2008 to FL to marry any old high school boyfriend. That's still my official home, though I can't stand FL. I'm in OR with my kids right now.
How proactive you were initiating moments and printing press literature and much etc for peace. So fun to see this part of your life. Your writing was engaging and you made light of yourself midst the serious effort and sacrifices.
Thank you, Claudia. And thanks for reading. I'm having to come up with 30 posts during November, so it has been a challenge. This longer piece lends itself to being chopped into several different posts.

You did the things I just didn’t know I needed to do. I love this piece. It put me right back in that time. Thank you.

I keep meaning to come to your silent writings. I’m on the East coast but fully up and awake. I will get there for the energy eventually.
I'd love to have you there! Where on the East coast are you? Being here in Oregon, I'm so homesick for the east. New Jersey, Massachusetts.
I’m in the wrong part for but I’m in Atlanta. Originally NY , upstate, and then NY city areas. New England is my favorite “land,”

I meant, for me!
